Tim's Dwarves

Post  Tim Miller on Wed Apr 13, 2011 6:46 pm

I'd like to thank my good friends Scott Radom and Tim Brown. Without you guys this army would never have been completed. Scott encouraged me to get into Dwarves (a while ago now!) and hooked me up with a bunch of models. Tim provided me with a place to paint and some good motivation. I now have a 2500 point list fully painted (not based yet). I'll post the list in the army list section for you fellows to peruse. I'm not the world's greatest painter, but I like the overall look of the army. I went with Karaz-A-Karak and kept the colours mostly red and white for a unified feel.

12 Warriors with musician.

40 Longbeards with double handed weapons. You can make out the 3 stone throwers in the background.

My characters. From left: Dragonslayer, Army Standard, Dragonslayer, Runepriest, Dragonslayer. 24 Thunderers with shields in the background.

Thorek with his homies.

I would like some suggestions for the bases. I want to keep them grey, and relatively easy because there's almost 100 of them to do!

Hey Tim, sure is a great feeling to finish up an army!

Have you thought of snow for the base?

I hadn't thought of snow actually, I was thinking more rubble. But snow is interesting. Can it be done fairly quickly?

Snow is very quick and easy. And dwarfs love snow! Man, when they get to frolickin'... look the FUCK out!
