the 8th ed. rule book
Darren has a 8th edition book at the store for demo, and it is like a bible, huge. had a quick look and there are some changes to say the least. all the clans are there didn't have time to browse all of them not even my own. it is so massive almost twice the size or the current rule book and he said we can look thru it and read it in the store so if anybody has some time to kill it is there and avaible to have a gander at.
cheers.
cheers.

There is a 6+ minute video review of the book on Bell of Lost Souls....yes, I will probably be mocked again, as BoLS is primarily a 40k website.
I did not have time to listen to all of it, but the fellow's comment that was review it was that Pre-measuring was now allowed....on "everything" if I remember correctly. As well, the magic system has had a total overhaul and the miscasts were now "particularly deadly".

checked youtube and yeah, scary. there are two video's and one is a part of a first turn with new rules and there are some wild new additions and magic is massive and my bret's will still have a shot to be big in magic as there are some stuff to do additions.

8th Ed just made me sad from the realization that I want to change the weapons on all of my Saurus Warriors and very sad because my Temple Guard only get the same armor save as a basic warrior now. Other than that 8th ed looks sweet.

Why do you think Temple Guard get the same save as regular warriors?

Units with a special weapon must use it. So their scaly skin and light armor equals the scaly skin and shield of the warriors
