You can borrow my Wood Elves or Dwarfs if you want. The dwarfs are about halfway through being re-based and re-painted but I could really go at it and hopefully get them into fighting shape by January. The Wood elves are fully painted and ready to go but I doubt you'd want to play with sissy elves. The offer is on the table though.

I'm tempted most by Carson's Empire offer actually. It's an army I've made several half assed attempts to paint but never got around to. Might be fun!

Doesn't look like we'll be doubling up on armies, so that's cool.

I don't know if you have me signed up for the tournament Carson but I will be there and I'll bring Bretonnians. I'm pretty sure I've already said that on one of the 4 or 5 threads about the tournament but I just wanted to be sure. Sorry Don, that means there will be 2 Bret armies but mine is extremely beatable so you shouldn't have to worry too much!

So since there is a comp section, is there still an army scoring part alongside the sportsmanship score?

nope scored seperately, although everyone knows that people keep the army makeup in mind when they score sports.

With the tournament just around the corner I wanted to remind everyone to go over the posted scenarios and comp rules. We have room for 4 more players so if you want in speak up now.

Anyone care to post thier planned army list, minus magic items of course.

This is the masters wind up so there will be app. 300$ in prizes given out. Can't wait and I hope that I can play as the spoiler.

Do we have to send you our lists ahead of time for comp or do we just bring in an extra copy of our list when we show up on tournament day?

I'll score them up the morning of the tourney. There are only going to be a max of 16 lists so shouldn't be too tough.

Sorry for the last second notice...but I will not be coming out to Saskatoon this weekend. Something came up here that I can't miss tomorrow. Yeah, she's hot.

By extenstion you can probably count Jessop out as well.

Good luck Wade! Remember to leave the money on the nightstand, and negotiate any extra fees before hand!

Thanks to Carson for the well-run tournament and well done to all the winners (and everyone else). It was especially nice to see Mr. Radom emerge from retirement to play a few games, even if he did have to leave early (probably to paint).

A special congratulations to Don who was the only one to lose to my Bretonnians, of course it was only because he was in the washroom when the table quarters scenario rules were given!

I dropped by around 4:30 to see if I could watch the end of a game, but alas no luck. I'll have to get in on the next league.

It needs to be said that the Khorne Daemons were chewing on Brettonian bones and had amassed an impressive display of Brett banners when they realised that the massacre victory was snatched from their grasp from a silly 'table quarter only' rule. Khorne does not recognise table quarters! Khorne only makes widows...

That is exactly why I lose games. I charge when I know I shouldn't -- cuz it's more fun. I move when I know I shouldn't -- cuz it's more fun. I don't mind losing at all if both sides had a good time. On another note: That 'Dreaded 13th Spell' from Skaven is a hard slap on the privates I tells ya'...

I'm pretty sure every army I played against has a full set of Bretonnian banners in their trophy rooms now! I should not have won that game against you Don, I only had 3 units left on the table at the end of the game and you had pretty much your whole army. From turn 3 I knew that I didn't have a chance of killing your army the way I was rolling so I was just hoping to keep you distracted enough to not notice that I was going to win with table quarters if you didn't spread out. Don't worry though, you can rest assured that there are a lot of weeping Bretonnian widows after our game and the victory was a bitter one for the survivors. I would love to have a re-match sometime though!

Hey Nathan, a win is a win -- period. It was a fun game against a great looking Bret army. I'd like nothing more than a rematch!

So, who won? Where's the deets?

I am SO glad I made it home early. The wife was havin' a time of it with the kids and I scored major points. Somehow I got to get drunk, spend all day playing warhammer and I still looked like the good guy for making it home early. What a fool she is!

Dominique won the tournament, Don won best painted and Eric and Geoff split the overall Masters Series win. Carson said he was going to post all the results and points breakdown and everything but I guess he hasn't had time yet.

Good to hear you got points with the wife Scott, that is always a good thing.
