Could we get an update Carson?

I don't think the league has been updated with the following reported games:
http://raveninghordes.forumakers.com/plan-and-report-f6/friday-july-24th-games-t384.htm (this one might be reported already... but the standings say they were updated on the 20th, and the games were reported on the 24th).

Hey I'm pretty sure I've recorded all of the games. I'll check once more to be certain.

I don't post a "new Post" with the update info but merely edit the original post.

Oh ok. I just expected it to say "edited on XXX" or whatever. The standings and number of games looks right, so I guess it's square.

So with the tournament on Sat. our summer league has come to an end.
Before I post the match-ups here is a question for the upcoming league.

1....should we expand our standard 2000pt level to 2200?

matchups are:

Joe Misfeldt vs Eric Miller

Nathan Rinholm vs Dominique Mercier

Sure, would that mean that all games have to be 2200 pts or is there still the choice to play at any point level?

I like the idea of moving the standard to 2200.

if the 2200 is for playoffs then sure, a more epic battle for victory. other wise for regular league games any size from 750 pts to 4000 pts or more would be good. Small point games might help encourage new people to take up the game. Playoffs would have to be the 2000 pt or better

So it looks as if no one is opposed to the changes so we will go with a standard of 2200pts. Of course players can play any points value for league games.

The reason I proposed this was the general movement to higher point values in tournaments. This will bring us in line with any out of province tournaments and Gws move to 2200 or 2250pt tournaments.

On another note. Is anyone interested in taking the role of organising introductory tournaments to help bring in new members? My plate is full right now with what I'm running but I feel there is a need to help bring in alot of the fringe players out there.

I can make some time for this. Maybe a Saturday afternoon demo type thing as well. Are there any events in the city where we can show off the game?? There is a hobby show in the winter i think, if anyone has info let me know. Maybe do a table to entice people to join up.

I would willing to help too. I'm really enjoying the league play and tournaments that we are having but it seems like all my games have been against the same people lately. It would be nice to be able to grow the league a bit and get some more people to join up.
