9am sharp start time. Games will count for league points in the normal manner....2points per game, I'm going to try and match up the first round players for ladder spots but I'm not sure if it will work. We'll play 2 rounds and then break for lunch. If the rounds go quick enough I might extend it for a 4th game. I'm not sure how fast 1500pt games will go.

We've got a full house right now as long as everyone signed up showsup!...................stash cough stash........Paul......

I hate to do this but I think I need to back out. My wife's family is planning a big shin-dig for fathers' day. I thought I was in the clear since I hadn't heard anything about it but my wife told me about the plans when I got home from work tonight. I was really looking forward to the tournament but right now family comes first.

I did get the ok to Warhammer it up on Friday though. If anyone is free friday night I would love to get a couple or three games in, they can even be 1500 point games if you want to test your army before the tournament. Let me know, I'm free anytime after 6.

Sorry to bail on the tournament guys. Hopefully you can fill the slot.

No sense rushing games to fit in one more game later. We can bring 1500 pts of non league choice army correct?

Is there anything going on Sat night? I'll probably drive up after work, get a pizza, go to my Hotel room and get drunk -- but if there's an alternate plan...

So thanks everyone for coming, it was a great time. Final outcome was really close....1 point difference in the end. Wade Robinson took the overall title with Don Matwe taking home the best army award (sports and comp combined).

So our next tournament in this masters series will be a 3000pt'er and will be a go sometime in Sept.

Thanks again.

Nice, congrats to the winners! Sorry I wasn't able to attend, I will definitely be there for the 3000 pointer in September though. There is no way I will miss that!

After the tourny my brother and I played a TK vs dwarf list of 3000 pts but unfortunately I didn't put enough thought into my list (I just threw one together) and it ended poorly after too many autobreaks with nofear protection. How many games are we going to play in the 3000 series if 3 2000 games were tight? Suggest two days (sorry out of towners) or strictly based on total pts won by goes to a side and least into b side with double loss elimination.

I'm guessing it would be an all day thing on a saturday which would give us more time for games. It has been done before but I've never been able to attend.

3000pts don't take as long as you might think.......special characters anyone (thier even encouraged). We've run a couple 3round 3000pt'rs before on a single day. No problems.

The games really aren't much longer. 1/2 hr at most. Turns one and two are the only ones that have any extra action in them with bigger phases, after the casualties start flying it gets smaller really quick.

Wish I didn't sell off my Demon army now. Oh well, 3k of Orc's is still easy enough to put together. 2 lords is bitchin! This is the perfect excuse to paint up Grimgor Ironhide!

So I'm assuming then that the Saskaloony comp rules will be different for a 3k game?

Anyone have Chaos hounds and spawn models to lend me?
