No one is interested in Nathan R's van? Is Nathan M coming to the event?

I think this may just have to get "hammered" out in person tomorrow at Andres place ...

I have no idea what the hotel situation is. Andre said he booked some rooms. Nathan M is not coming Sad. I don't care how we get there but I don't want to try cramming 5 grown adults into Andres compact SUV again.

Were the driving arrangements discussed this weekend? Was there a decision?

There was. Andre is still taking his vehicle so he can be comfortable and Dom and Carson are going in his. I think Dwayne is in your vehicle. I may end up in Andre's vehicle as they may need directions, or yours - no worries either way it's all the same highway. Dwayne and I talked about meeting up around 1 for lunch as Andre is leaving at 2. Anyone else interested?

No offense guys but that seems like a dumb plan. Half the fun of the trip is the road trip and the driving conversations. Dwayne is a good guy but he's going to be sick of me by the time we get to Edmonton if it's just the two of us in one vehicle. Plus all the way home he's going to be the only one who hears about how shitty I played. Everyone needs to hear about it!

Andre i totally get that you want to drive, I'm always more comfortable as a driver than a passenger too but I'll make an exception for this trip. if you want to drive, drive my van. It is a luxurious Chrysler town and country, it has leather heated seats (even heated in the second row), has new winter tires installed and can comfortably fit everyone and Their luggage and armies.

Tell you what. It seems like everyone will be ready by 2. Bring the van to my place and we can see how everything packs in. If we still feel the need to take 2 cars we have that option. Can everyone confirm a 2 oclock departure...that has us arriving in edmonton after rush hour traffic.

I have Friday off and will be ready to go for 2. As Don said, he and I are planning to do lunch beforehand if anyone wants to join us.

Lets see how we all stack up on Friday and go from there.

Just a heads up. My week has become a bit 'fucky'. I have a boiler start up but waiting to hear when the gas inspector can meet me. If it doesnt look good on Friday I will text and you guys can take off as early as you like. I could be until 5 on friday. At the whim of the inspector and he is not pleased with my office's short notice...like I said its fucky.

The one the tournament is at.

Let's go somewhere in the North End for lunch. Original Joes or Brown's or something like that. Still meet at Andre's as it's nice and close to where we leave the city.

You guys may all know me as generally a 'dick' which is fine but in my work world my reputation as being dilligent is something i work hard at to maintain. My gas inspector spoke to a few of the others that know me and signed off on my start up today. I should be done by lunch tomorrow. We csn meet at Browns and stick to our game plan. Woot woot.
