Don - did you need to borrow some T34s or a KV to use with your Soviets?
Nathan - 6 pounders are not that much different from 2 pounders - you could just proxy...

summer weekends are a very prized commodity for me. While I'd love to spend a Saturday rolling dice I think my family will have other plans for me.

My Soviets are sold. Just have my British. That weekend I'm in 2 separate car shows.

Have fun at the car shows!

It's what Don does, changes armies like clothes. Whoever bought the soviets probably got a great deal. When he finds an army he likes enough to paint he tends to hang onto it though.

Nathan is right - I'm very fickle with armies - BUT, in this case it was simply a huge army that needed to be painted for a game I rarely play. One army for FoW is more than enough for now.

I'll go on the record and say I wish I was a little more like Don in that regard. I tend to horde my armies and love them like my own children. I've only sold something I painted once, it was for an online charity painting competition several years ago where the charity was very near and dear to me but I still regret it and wish I had it back. Being able to ditch an army in favour of a new one is a concept very foreign to me but I imagine it could be very liberating. I'd love to try out different armies but I'm not ready to commit to another one. I just don't have the storage space!

I am also at the limit of my storage; that being said Soviets are Levi's, Finish are Shana's, & several German, PAVN, + IDF are Brody's.
Although I have been considering selling my Cromwell and Firefly troop to make room on a shelf so I can get a different troop.
On a sad note I have already begun collecting my last army -> WWIII Canadians.

I am playing my Italians tonight - that way I can see how they do prior to the tournament.
Still accepting lists!
