Characters clock in at 853 points which is a decent chunk but i think they all serve a good purpose. The goblins are run 5 wide and can take quite a beating with the deadly Goblin King as challenge bait (this hasnt worked great so far but i love it for 100 points) I get 6 spells which is more than enough with a 5+ channel. Random bolt thrower because its cheap, it helps with some stuff (so far it hasnt hit anything) but i honestly just love the model. Same with the scrap wagon it is very cheap and i just like the fig alot so i figured id run one for fun. The horde of orcs do most of the heavy lifting, i fear that unit getting lead around by chaff but i dont want to run them any narrower and it really hasnt bit me in the butt too often yet. Lots of monsters and fun toys with the BSB, Giant Spider and Giant. The cavalry flankers have done little more than die in every single game, but i dont expect much and love the boar models.

I like it. Goblin characters are always fun, as are Giants, pump wagons and arachnaroks. The trolls are nice and that horde of savage orcs is scary.

No fanatics or mangler squids?

Naw, dont got the points or the figs yet. Going for what i can get painted / feel comfortable using. The list is solid, with a decent magic phase, i admit i feel like the one Skewer and random Trolls and stuff feel un optimized but as you said with the pump wagon and everything. its FUN! Goal is to beable to field a Cave Goblin Army, Common Goblin Army, Savage and Common Ork army. and mash the variety up as needed. One day i want like 3 hordes of spear wielding goblins lead by Kings!

I've always liked spider riders!

Lots of characters which should make your units pretty tough to crack.

You should give your cave goblins nets. That upgrade turns them from mildly annoying speedbump into very annoying tarpit.

Yeah I was thinking about that tbh but its 1 point a model. Thats 40 more points that I dont have... Altho I could drop the 45 point bolt thrower or Pump Wagon but I feel that for the 40ish points they will do more then nets. No? Nets do tempt me...

I hate nets with a passion.  They cause a massive swing, instead of wounding on 2's or 3's suddenly I'm wounding on 3's or 4's (or even 5's if I was only S3).  It makes your squishy goblin unit 17% more survivable.  38 points shouldn't be that hard to find.

Nets are the reason to take cave goblins in my opinion. .

Ha I took cave goblins because I like the goblin figs with the cloaks and moons on them tbh. And the fluff is funner. Ill see if I can make the points for but I will admit im not in love with nets. How about a small minimum unit with nets? As a flanker. I really dont want to net my own army haha... Ok I have a list plan...

Thanks for the input guys! Appreciate Smile

Night goblins netting them selves is not a big deal at all. I mean sure it sucks but they are there to absorb wounds , and it's much easier to do that then the enemy is at a lesser strength

Agree completely, add nets and you'll never think about not adding them again.
