Spell cards

Post  squalie on Wed Sep 07, 2016 10:20 am

I downloaded and ordered the 9th age spell cards from staples. I had them printed on 100lb card stock (just like business cards). It was $42.

Once I pick them up I'll post to see if that was the right card stock and how they look! You can do it online and the gal said they'd be same day.

They won't be business card size, if that's what you're thinking. They will be magic the gathering card size.

I've bought clear card protectors for them. Should be sweet!

Should be about $50 total investment.

Here's a lower cost solution...
If you're going to put them in sleeves anyway, why not just print them at home? Cut them out and insert them over one of your useless magic cards into the sleeve. $8

I would suggest the same thing. I haven't posted them yet, but not entirely happy with them. I went this route so I could have the back of the cards also, but have since realized I don't care about that.

Print, glue onto magic card and insert into sleeve, save $40.

No need to even glue honest. IDK if anyone has seen the cards i've been using since the start of 9th age, but its exactly that. Old coloured magic sleeves (as i have thousands of them in tons of different colours) and some old land cards to make them stiff and then printed on a good colour printers to scale. cut them out and presto they work great, and have helped me remember spells and attributes i would have forgotten otherwise.
