hey- "my dusty box" is the title I use on my online dating site too.

I am gone until the 8th now- camping at Waskesieu-but after that if anyone wants to text or pop over to see stuff that would be cool.
I have lots of empire/bretonians, orcs, terrain, lizard men, wood elves, etc.

I am at 306-370-9612 and at 247 maguire court in willowgrove.

Hoping to start actually playing FOW again. I keep buying too much of that now.

necron cryptek I converted from a cairn wraith, I painted 1 of those old lizardmen and it looked like a cheap Chinese toys so I am going with necrons instead.

Thanks Carson, my whole necron army has this glowing affect. They have this junkyard theme and I like to imagine that they are over clocking so everything on them is working at maximum capacity. Also the crypteks psychic power is so strong that he makes the destroyed pieces around him kind of start functioning again.

Lol thanks Sean, but it is ok. I did go with something that was kind of simple to paint and not really part of the game we play. I do have more necron for August but for September I am going to try to do 10 temple guard.

It's hard to comment on painting when I'm looking at the picture on my phone. From what I can see it looks good. Didn't know if that was a character or if he was going to post more too.

Good job Brian - seriously. Cool basing.

BUT, it's hard to comment on 40k stuff knowing it's not for our league and we won't be playing against it. Wink

Well, only an hour and a half left in July. It looks like Brian and I are the only ones taking this challenge seriously.

I'm very interested in the painting challenge but got caught up in a few things this weekend. Boating this weekend at Echo Lake with new boss (didn't want to say no).

Plus, I severely underestimated how much I could get done on the Tzeentch Warrior army. Last night, I got busy on the Varanguard models and stopped after a couple hours of frustration. There's soooooo much going on with those models, plus they're not turning out like I had pictured, Sad that I kind of lost momentum. I think I bit off a lot on this one....

July painting challenge is not looking good for me.

Ah well, it's hard to make painting a priority when the weather is nice and there is boating to do. Looks like July was extended to include today so... Get at em!

Stuff happens, lets call this a 3 month painting challenge, and July was a practice month.

I got my 10 Goblins done, not happy with the pictures i took or the bases of them atm, so i just ordered a bunch of TINY mini mushrooms to spruce up the bases. I was debating adding some Green Crystals but i think that might be too much.

I'll post tonight and you let me know what u guys think.

How is everyone doing on this? After getting ripped off with my July entry not counting I took it easy for August and painted a wood elf character on a giant eagle. I'll post pictures when I take them. It's an old model that I've had forever with a little greenstuff work done by my cousin. It'll probably never see a game but it's nice to have it painted.

Next 2 months will be 5 glade riders each or maybe an avatar of Khaine.

getting there....This will give an idea as to what the skin color of my skaven army will resemble. So, very pale with grey/white fur and black rusty scratched up armor.

Wow, didn't notice it was sideways until this morning. WTF

I'm gonna redo the base now that I see it on a pic. Smooth swamp water with gas bubbles.

I love the look of that armour Carson. An army painted like that will look sharp. I think the base looks fine and it probably looks even better in person.
