Painting Challenge - SUMMER 2016

Post  Kal on Fri Jul 15, 2016 10:48 am

Ok guys I want to see some stuff painted. Same rules as normal, 10 Infantry, 5 cavalry, 1 big thing / character or 3x Monsterous stuff. No doing characters or 1 big thing two months in a row. Just going to run this for four months and see how it goes. July - Aug - Sept - Nov. Anyone who completes all 4 months gets

A) the satisfaction having painted your own figs
B) a more painted army
C) a GW paint pod of your own colour choice! (best prize ever amirite?)
D) anyone who signs up but doesnt complete the 4 months gets a free hug from Brian! (he's a cuddler)

Sign Up Now! - Post your progress and lets get some activity on here!

Sean - IS IN!

Well depends on its base size. Remember u got 4 months to fill and its 10 Infantry, 5 cavalry, 1 big thing / character or 3x Monsterous stuff. No doing characters or 1 big thing two months in a row. So if you can find 3 more bathrooms to paint Wink

The 3 guys on foot are really old peasant archer figs. The mounted guys are old too but you could still buy them fairly recently. The dudes on foot have been Oop for a long time.

I love the old Bretonnian men-at-arms and archers......excellent sculpts. I'd love to have a nice block of the old metal men-at-arms with halberds. Its crazy, if I had actually kept all of the now Oop figs I once had I'd be in fig heaven.

I'm working on the forgeworld skaven warlord on giant rat for this month.

Should have it done by Sunday, I hope.

Carson- I have about 20 of those old metal bretonians and a bunch of empire. I'd rather see someone use them then sit in my dusty box. That sounds a little dirty.
If you want them let me know. I live just on maguire court in willowgrove in your neck of the woods now.
