For the fellows that haven't played Warthrone yet or read the rules.

Because I love throwing a monkey wrench into things, maybe we should give this a read?

I'm only bringing this up as there are a few people that are reluctant to play Warthrone, this seems to have cleaned up 8th - and we all pretty much really liked 8th. This is getting a lot of attention and I'm just bringing this up because reasons.

I started reading through these FREE downloadables. I think this may just be the defibrillator to gw fantasy gaming. Don and i just played a game of warthrone and i dont mind the game mechanics of it either but i think we should all look these rules over to be more available to tge global community

I think Warthrone is still the way to go. I read these way back, in fact I think Carson may have posted the link several months ago. Back then I think people felt that while the rules were solid, there was no company support behind the game. And while Avatars of war is no GW when it comes to producing a large volume of models, they are committed to supporting their game.

and while I have yet to play a game of Warthrone, I do want to.

I'm liking how Nathan is thinking, support from a company is key. Also yesterday myself, Don and Brian took a trip to Saskatoon to pick up another 500$ worth of plastic for a fantasy game that currently doesn't exist because we are SOO confident that we will be playing a fantasy game we bought more mini's. But we kind of went over all of the Warthrone rules, some concerns me and Brian were having and got up a lengthy list of questions for the creator of Warthrone to answer personally. So i think we should see how he reacts to all of the questions and see how completely they get answered before we learn another rule set and jump off the Warthrone train.

I think Warthrone has the support and potentially the player base we all want.

I am willing to play either or both. Planning on printing out a copy of the warthrone rules before next weekend. might be able to print off the 9th age stuff as well to give it a try.

I very much like Warthrone, and am very impressed with how fast the creator of the game answers, and explains, rules questions.

Why does it take a week to print something?

Nobody likes a smart-ass Raptortamer, I think he means he'll have the rules ready to go by next weekend which is when Nathan M is hosting his gaming weekend.

I will be doing the same.

Try sitting in a car with him for 4 hours and argue about Chaos Hounds - that actually happened. Oh, and please be reminded that he's Sean's friend.

Nuff said.

Lmao oh man every thing I say something online lately comes off snippy or sarcastic.I just meant that he should probably print them off before the weekend and go over them a few times.
Like that is my biggest warning it is a stale read and apparently it is easier to make up your own rules in your head then to understand them hahah.

And we were neither right or wrong about those stupid dogs that was an arguement waiting to happen
