Why would an event possibly alienate half the flames of war gamers out there? Why not just run a LW or MW event?

Just asking. Explain if I'm missing something.

Yep, I'm out for this one. I don't have Germans or soviets. I don't even have Shermans.

No, I don't like using other people's models. I'll be there for the Late War event and after that I'll work on expanding my collection so I am able to participate in early and mid-war events.

Um, you didn't answer the question of segregating your players. Why are some players excluded?

Last Fall we ran a Market Garden Event = excluding Soviet & Italian players
This Spring/Winter we ran a Monte Cassino Event = excluding Soviet players
- you did not complain then?
Wink
No you are not missing anything - this is a 'Historical' Game and sometimes we run 'Historical' events that yes exclude countries. Kursk the Greatest Tank Battle of all time did not have Americans, British or Canadians present as a force - the Soviets had Lend Lease tanks though...
So, to answer you question - why alienate half the players - so far I seem to have alienated the Soviets quite a bit? Nyet?
And, to advance to your next question I need to read Berlin before I could get/figure out how to do everyone versus Germany (it is supposed to be out soon!)
