I will be attending this. I've got to buckle down and finish painting my infantry but there's still lots of time for that.

It may be a little premature but I've sent you my list. I'm guessing that is what you were hinting at.

Hey Lance, less than a month away. Do you have any more information for us? Scenarios or anything special we need to be aware of? I'm excited for this event!

What is seize and hold?
Edit: never mind, I found it. I probably won't be using that scenario unless it is forced on me even though I'm playing British Airborne.

Re: Rumble in July (Late War Tournament for Flames of War @ Tramp's) 1900 points
Had a great time at the event and thanks to Lance for hosting. He puts on a good show with doughnuts, cold drinks and quick rules. He's a good guy!
Had 3 games of course, first against a German Halftrack list which was almost exactly like mine, except for the King Tiger he parked on the objective and my CHALLENGERS!!!!!!! couldn't even scratch it at long range - amazing. German Heavy armour is a beast. Tigers take 2 shots and 2 British tanks disappear! lol. Germans took the objective for the win.
Second game against Saskatoons own Tim Miller and his Soviet Strelkovy list with tons of artillery. He had so much artillery in ambush from the scenario that I lost pretty much 3 platoons of tanks in one turn, with nothing left to attack with. It was so one sided for him that we got to go for lunch early. Thanks Tim!
Last game was against a Regina Warhammer player (Tyler) and his Soviet Tank list. My British Challengers really shined and even elicited comments from my opponent that British shouldn't have AT 15 Tanks. I got one win and had a great time. I'm going to expand my Flames of War stock and try to play the game more often - really good stuff.
Insert obligatory "Where was Scott Radom" comment here. Much love Scott, dust off those 'Mericans and join the crew!

Glad to hear. Was there a good turn out? I was in a grouchy mood all day at not being able to make it.

I was there too and even though I went 0-3 I had a blast and only lost all 3 games at the very end. My second game was a real slug-fest. I think we both had more destroyed tanks than live ones. I even ran out of destoyed tank markers. All 3 games my 6 pdrs were all stars. Busting tanks and taking names. My airplane did well too, killing more than it's points in all 3 games. I was always wanting it later on though, I may find the points to get it back up to priority air support after all.
