The Real Nathan's Ogres

Post  Nathan.A. on Thu Oct 23, 2014 8:51 pm

Just thought I would start a project post about my newest army, OGRES!

Now those guys aren't all done yet, but it gives you an idea of colour schemes. Going to try and get these guys done tomorrow, then on to mournfang.

Great news and I really like the colour scheme. I think you're a better painter than YOU think you are. knowwhatimean?

I like what you're doing there, they kind of look like they're all bronzed-up for a bodybuilding competition!

And the Mournfangs, some small details aren't finished yet but for the most part they're done!

I like where your going with the bases. Are you doing snow or grass or something else. I could easily see just more rock with maybe the odd clump of foliage.

What is that on the base? Doesn't look like Cork.

I'm actually not quite sure what else I'm going to do with the bases yet. I was thinking of maybe just some smaller rock grit mix to cover the black parts. Maybe work in the odd bone here and there, I'm probably going to keep it fairly barren.

And you're right it isn't cork, it's actually just epoxy putty, the cheap stuff of course.
