Gaming mats

Post  nathanr on Tue Jul 22, 2014 10:37 am

So after Justin and Carson brought over their Frontline Gaming mats on the weekend I decided I had to have one. The price tag seemed a bit much so I looked around at the possibility of getting one made here but I quickly found that it would be 2 or 3 times as expensive and it wouldn't be as nice a product. I also found a supplier in China that could make them for $10-20 apiece but the minimum order was 1000. To be honest, it's probably the same supplier that Frontline Gaming uses.

Anyway, I gave up and decided to just buy the thing. It should be on its way as I type this. I also saw that they have a program where local gaming stores can get a free mat and then can stock their gaming spaces with the mats for a discount if they carry the mats in the store. Maybe we should look into this as a possible option for the extra league fee money. I know I enjoy playing on those mats a lot more than the old ping pong tables that are covered with tape.

I bought through frontline gaming. These seem pretty nice too, I really liked the green one from frontline though and it matched with my terrain too well to go with something else.
