dwarf runes or big blocky stuff. The dwarfs don't go for those fancy dancy elf swirls. If they're going to get inked they might as well make it worth their while.

I'm slightly cheating this month because these guys were mostly painted already. I've also got 3 war hawks painted and 2 wolves and a wild rider as well. In August I'm going to try to base the war hawks and finish the riders, paint up the treeman and paint 9 more wild riders. Then September will be 10 scouts and 2 eagles.

Here is my latest miniature to submit.  Chaos Dwarf K'daai Destroyer.  This is the second model I have converted from other minis. I'm pretty happy with it but would like to add some effects of lava dripping off of the body of the model as its climing out of the lava pool. I don't know how to do this without possibly ruining the model. any advice from the more experienced hobbyists would be appreciated.

That is really cool Justin, good work. To do the dripping effect a regular old glue gun works well enough but the best method is with a specialty glue that many use for the dripping blood effect. Lame, but I can't remember the name of it. I'll dig it up and post back

Well. Procrastination had ruined me. By the time I got to my painting it was far too hot and sweltery to actually paint. Curse my lack of AC.
Anyways I started working on my black knights finally as yesterday wasn't as stupid hot out and hopefully I can be done in the next few days. I'll post here my entry and if it's counted then yay, else oh well.

Solid looking rats to add to your Under Empire Justin! Love the coloring on the weapons. Whats that in the background?

Ok, so August has come and gone. I posted my painting progress on my own painting thread. In September I'm painting 5 scouts, 9 wild riders and making a display board.

Yeah, I was unable to meet deadline. I have unfortunately lost my will to paint for the time being. Too busy with life stuff. *sigh*
I will still try to keep going where I can, but I think I am out of this comp.

Hey Sean, you're still short a month. The Slayers would have gotten you a star for July but you need something for August too.
