New treeman painted last week

Post  Galadros on Tue May 13, 2014 1:40 am

I excitedly did up the new treeman kit just in time for Onslaught in Edmonton. Here's a snapshot of him looking menacing. I also did a video chronicling my thoughts on Wood Elves through the editions, from 1998 onward. Actually started this army while living in Saskatoon. Looks great, how's the kit?  Does it give you lots of good bits left over?

I liked the video too, I've got 32 of those old clone archers too. Do you have any plans for those two old treemen? I've got 6 that I use as treekin and I wouldn't mind adding a couple more if you'd be willing to part with them.

Plenty of bits left over, but not enough to do a second treeman without some marvellous sculpting work. I may be a able to integrate it to create a treekin or 2 a bit easier.

I'm gonna keep them, Nathan. For the same reason as you, I'm going to employ them as treekin now that there is a properly scaled treeman to replace Stumpy an Twiggy. I have another unbuilt old treeman to make a minimum unit, too.

Excellent work, what a great new kit. really enjoyed the video, very professional.

I didn't even know you had a Wood Elf army.
