Toon Con 2014

Post  GeoffKlassen on Sat May 03, 2014 9:43 am

This year ToonCon is being held on September 19-21, Al asked me to find out if someone wants to run it this year, if no one want to run it I can organize it his year, just let me know if you are interested in attending and if you want me or someone else to run it.

Thanks

I could make it a masters event......maybe a 2 day 5 game showdown?

That's why we need to book now or else book a separate tourney at the Den if there isn't room at tooncon for us.

From my experience with Fragcon and the Expo in Regina, they're usually happy to accomodate. Just give them an idea how how many tables they need and give them proper heads up.

They also mention that Warhammer players make more noise than normal. I reply that it's because Warhammer is waaay more fun than the stupid board games everyone else is playing.

Warhammer players are loud? Tell that to the table full of weirdos at the Den on Friday night. Not sure what game they were playing but Andre and I could hardly hear each other!

You know - that's what I thought also. The last couple events I hosted in Regina, the board gamers playing a TRAIN game were louder than we were - by far. I chalk that one up to the players, cuz they looked...well, you know.

Find out if you can show up night before to set up tables.
