Thanks Justin.  I guess with these games reported I've got all the league games that were played.  Sean just needs to give me the information that I'm missing for his game with Andre and I'll be good to go.

Oh and:

Date of Game - MAY 09
Name - Nathan R. (D. Elves) vs Andre (Ogres)

Date of Game - MAY 17
Name - Nathan R. (D. Elves) vs Squalie (WoC Slaanesh)
Number of Points - 2500
Result - Massacre for Nathan
Wildcard Challenge? - no
Fully Painted? Nathan No / Don No

Another really fun game with Nathan even though I lost. Playing some fun units and I don't see any reason to change my list one bit. My deployment was shoddy and Nathans supa-fast army can capitalize on that pretty quick. I got a chuckle out of the irony that Warlocks don't get a save against anything Slaanesh, which I promptly forgot about in typical fashion. This is turning out to be my new fave army and I'm amped to get this one painted......right after 3 other armies.

I had battle reports written, but for some reason it didn't save and I'm too demoralized to try again. Very Happy

Date of Game - July 21
Name - Nathan R (Bretonnians) vs Don (Daemons)
Number of Points - 2500
Result - Crushing Victory for Nathan
Wildcard Challenge? - no
Fully Painted? I was fully painted

Highlights of the game for me all centered around my Bretonnian Lord and his Heroic Killing Blow. He and his unit of questing knights got charged by an exalted chariot of slaanesh and two units of daemonettes. After surviving the disappointing (for Don) 2D6 impact hits, Duke LeGrum found the chariot's weakness with a well-placed lance strike. 8 wounds in one blow! That was enough to swing the combat into a draw allowing me to countercharge with a lance of knights. Later in the game lightning struck twice as the old Duke got into contact with a soulgrinder and put an end to its miserable existance with another well-placed lance strike. If not for those two acts of heroism, the unit of the match would have gone to a lowly unit of bowmen who not only held off but killed an entire unit of seekers. They did it with a combination of shooting and close combat and single-handedly saved the trebuchets, allowing them do wreak terrible damage on Don's poor daemons.

It was a fun game and a good start to the campaign.

Date of Game - Aug 2
Name - Andre (very short dudes) vs Don (Daemons)
Number of Points - 2500
Result - Crushing Victory for Don
Wildcard Challenge? - no
Fully Painted? Andre painted , me not painted

Regular game had fun as always. Thought I was in big trouble at the start, but Slaanesh is fast and Andre's shooting didn't do much - which was a problem.

At the end of the game, on my turn 6, I had a unit surrounded and multicharged for the victory. The shield wall rule is very cool. I Choired 2 stupid copters in one turn.

I will agree with Scott (gasp) the the dwarf roll at the start of the game was extremely poorly implemented. It just feels tacked on and silly. It's too bad as they really could have worked that into the book better.

Date of Game - August 1st
Name - Justin (Skaven) vs Frank (Dark Elves)
Number of Points - 2500
Result - Crushing Victory for Frank
Wildcard Challenge? - no
Fully Painted? Justin no; Frank no

Storm Banner shut down most of the Dark Elf shooting and stuck around for the entire game which was well worth the 50 points. Fortunate for Frank the Skaven crews couldn't seem to bring their warmachines to bear on the Dark Elves. The witch elves ended up closing in and destroying my plague furnace and the priest mounted on it, forcing the remaining 8 plague monks to flee for their lives. The hellpit abomination was able to charge their flank and destroy what remained of the dark elves. A block of executioners plowed through my block of storm vermin easy enough and the hellpit was swarmed by cold one knights.

It actually was a really fun game even though you kept Lancing my big stuff with HKB. I always take a loss like that easier when I picture it as a movie with the Bret Lord just mopping up all the baddies with his glowing Lance (Um...that sounds kinda wrong). Anyways, it's always cooler when you make it thematic.

Had a game with Justin this morning. He brought coffee to bribe the Slaanesh God, but it didn't work. His Chaos Dwarfs rolled hot, but that also meant his leadership rolls made him fail a few fear tests. I charged my Exalted Chariot and unit of 4 Fiends into his Destoyer to see what would happen. Lots of attacks, but crappy impact hits all netted me just one wound. After a few rounds though with the amount of attacks I was throwing we finally overwhelmed the Destroyer who failed 3 Ward saves and trotted back to the Volcano. At the end of the game, his unit of short guys, with BSB and general, were surrounded by a Keeper, 2 units of Nettes, a Soulgrinder, 4 Fiends, an Exalted Chariot and 6 Seekers. the lil' bastards killed the 2 units of Nettes, the Souldgrinder, my herald and barely took any wounds in the next turn. Very resilient little blighters. I thought Daemons were angry but they have nothing on Chaos Dwarfs. In the end though, a massacre for me as Daemons never get tired.

I don't know what happened this game.  Everything was going my way and I had Andre on the ropes turn 3.  I had killed both his organ guns, had his big unit of ironbreakers surrounded on all sides and had my dark pegasus master in on the flank of his big unit of thunderers where he could chip away for a few turns until my other stuff charged in without having to worry about stand and shoot reactions.  Well I rolled a 3 for the magic phase that turn and didn't get anything off, then my pegasus master wiffed, missing with all 6 to hit rolls and then his pegasus did too, missing both his attacks and failing to even wound on his stomp.  He lost combat by 2, then failed his re-rollable break test and fled which allowed his thunderers to pursue into the combat with the ironbreakers.  That combat resulted in disaster for me, I lost 3 units of dark riders, my general and his unit of cold one knights.  After that it was just mop-up time for Andre.  I failed to do anything significant the rest of the game and in the end all I had left was a unit of warlocks.  Hats off to Andre for keeping his cool in the early game, he played a great game.  I am now 0/4 against Andre with my dark elves, I'll get you next time!

First game with Bob who's always a wonderful opponent. The kind of guy that reminds you to stomp. Everyone should be Bob.

Of course I got him surrounded and just tried to pick the little fellows apart. I'm always reluctant to bring up bad dice rolling as it happens to everyone but Bob, would roll 11's back to back for bsb leadership tests. Over and over again. Our friend Bob can roll 11's better than anyone I know. Sorry about your dice Bob.

Mine and Carson's game on Saturday will go down as the most evenly matched, tense game that I can ever remember. Ever. Think about that for a minute...

From the very beginning of the game it was a slaughter with both sides never giving up. At no single moment in the game - not even once, was there a spread of victory where one of us thought we were going to win. So much in fact, that after awhile we stopped cheering and things got very quiet as we put on our best general hats and got focused. At the end of the game it was so intense my neck and shoulders were sore. Crazy, awesome game that is a perfect example of a perfect game. Of course I would say that as I won. Smile

My soul grinder reached down, scooped up his necromancer, and promptly pulled his head off. A truly momentous occasion for the Daemons. Our dead pools far outweighed what was on the table. This game went solid for six rounds. It kind of makes me sad as my next game just CAN'T be as good as this one. Oh well.

We also played some flames of war (Jesus, what a great game) with Carson and Aidens' Germans against Bob and I with our British/Canadians. The good guys won. Wink

I said afterwards that it was the best game Ive ever played. Wasn't decided until my Necromancer General had his head pulled off top of 6.

I was actually fully painted for this game......vampires are done!!!!!

I also had a match against Bob and his notroious dice rolling. It was really quite horrible as Bob rolled 1 and 2's for everything except leadership tests.......

Fully Painted? Nathan painted

Had a training game with Matt (Druchii) and discovered a very nice fellow with an obvious passion for the game. He played his Vamps and me playing Beastmen. We only got a couple turns into the game, but I think we've found another character for our group and I couldn't be more pleased.

Full game against Nathan and I thought I was actually looking really good. I needed a 4 for a Bestigor unit charge and rolled a 3.  Mad  Wha - Waaaaaa, oh well that's warhammer. The Dark Elves went on to do great things and the rest, they say, is history.

We THEN went to Sabarosa's and ate more animal flesh than we really had a right to. Another good Warhammer day.

It was a good game, we both had barely-failed charges but your's definitely hurt you more. I thought Don had the game in the bag when I attempted a turn 6 charge with everything I had left. My 9 warlocks did 16 wounds and won me the game. I'm not sure that it was really a massacre, I lost quite a few units and Don still had a horde of bestigors and a beast lord intact at the end.

Thanks to Andre for hosting!

Oh ya, Andre was super for offering his Garage. Could be our new 'Den".

I think you're right, I had more on the table than I thought. Take the massacre though, I put my hand out on turn 5. A concede is a massacre.
