Painting is next finding dwarfs easier/more enjoyable to paint. But the shit ton of metal and me hating metal paint will inevitably drive me mad...er... I found the plastics fit together very very well. Only bad thing would be they fit so well the only real customization u get is the arm poses. And even then to rank them well u cant go nuts with the arms. The shit ton of shoulder pads are annoying to keep uniform and trim. Im still cursing AoW figs. They look quite awsome but sucked so much more then GW stuff
That's what I found with the new wild rider plastics. Not a lot of posing options, even the arms pretty much have to go on at certain angles to not look deformed. It would be annoying if they weren't so pretty and well-made.
Agreed. Alot of the weapon arms unless u put them in the preset pose they look disjointed but thats where the shoulder pads help. I also stole and switched alot of weapons from other kits. Just to keep things different. Especially with my long beards as they are like a militia. So they would each have their own family heirloom weapons. I even commited a great dwarven sin. Some of my Dwarfs even have swords :O
Looks good Sean, if you want to take it that extra step, put a dark brown wash, like earthshade on the base of the Mohawk and lower layers of beard and kind of blend it into the higher regions if that makes sense.
