Thanks Carson! Ive really been enjoying these witch hunters. with only 2 large blocks of rank and file in my army atm I can't justify getting more then 2 of them now Sad but here is the 2nd one!

Nicely done Sean!

Nathan A I've turned your Question into a Like a Star @ heaven
Don, since I haven't heard from you I've turned your Question into a Sad

Same as last month, to remove the Sad you'll have to paint 3 months worth of stuff in February.

Apart from the snow and grass on some bases, this is 1500 points worth of Dark Elves fully painted!

I'll bring them to Don's and hopefully I can get in a few games with them. I'm a bit nervous about it because I haven't playtested the army at all so it's a lot of work on something that I only just think will be fun to play with and against.

I'm really torn between finishing off this army and getting more dwarfs. I'm going to wait on that decision until I play a few 1500 point games and see how this list plays. If it turns out to be shitty I'll probably just build a display base for it (likely from the board they are on in the picture) and leave it as it is.

I'm not planning to but if the cavalry army turns out to be complete shit in games I still have 1000 points to work with. I could use that to add some infantry I suppose.

Most likely I'll just bite the bullet and complete the army as planned. That means 2 more units of 5 dark riders, another unit of warlocks, 9 more cold one knights, and one more of each type of chariot. I've already got most of the knights built so that is probably the way I'll go.

I definitely have mobility, 5/8 of my army can vanguard and has a march of 18" meaning by the end of turn 1 I can move over 60% of my army 30" from where they were originally deployed. Warlocks are indeed fast cavalry. I'm not.

2 chariots:
- the scourgerunner chariot (the front one in that picture) is drawn by horses so M9 and has a S7 bolt thrower.
- the cold one chariot (the one in the rear in that picture) is drawn by cold ones so M7 but it is a lot tougher and killier in combat.

Haha this is totally the wrong thread for this but. Sounds like a fast as hell army. Do u have a caster on a horse? The fast bolt throwing chariots are pritty mean. Hard to catch and can move up the flank to hit enemy knights better with the bolt thrower eh? Cool shove 20 RXBs in the list then u can hold that watch tower lol

The warlocks are a unit that acts like a level 2 wizard. If/when I expand to 2500 points I'll have 2 units of those. No other wizards.
