Ok guys let's get a plan together. Should I be booking another room? How many people need transportation? I would prefer not to have to bankroll both a room and a vehicle but I do have a minivan that could hold 6 including me. Let's try to get this planned by this time next week.

Looks like I'm in the room that Scott booked.

I think logistically the rental van is out. We should start arranging minivans/cars and go from there. Frank and I will be driving from Moose Jaw so, that's a start....

Do we have a head count?  I can take 5 people in my van. I'm thinking about booking a double room at the west Edmonton inn which is 170/night. If 4 people stay there it works out to about $85/person. There are only 3 rooms left there so if you want in then tell me soon.

If we don't get a plan together soon I'm just going to drive myself and book my own single room.

Ok I'll book a room then. It isn't the fantasyland hotel, its the west ed inn which is across the street from the mall.

I booked the room, it was $368.42 with taxes and fees all-in. There are 2 beds and a cot is $15/night. So far Dom and Darren have claimed spots, anyone else need a place to stay?

What time are people planning on leaving on the Friday? Should I be taking time off work? Leave at noon? Do we have a plan for vehicles? I know Don is driving from Moose Jaw and Dom said he could drive too, is that enough vehicles?

I'm going to start another thread (If that's ok). I took the Friday off as it's easily a 7 hour trip for me. Frank (the Apothecary) is coming with me and maybe Sean.

So who's actually registered and paid? Noticed on facebook that the event is sold out and anyone else wanting to be in the event would be on a waiting list.

Looking on youtube and found five reports and a recap by a Edmonton local called MrMalorian for Onslaught 2012 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaLGDZR413o
One thing I noticed was he played people from outside of Edmonton so good chance we will not face off in first rd

Remember, army lists are due on Saturday. I'm assuming you can e-mail them in, that's what I did.

wish I could find this years but I'm betting it will be very similar to this.

I was wondering if anybody could help me with army builder for my list. I still do not have the full version and I am not able to print what I put together.

Sorry Darren, I don't have army builder.

Did everyone see the bonus points section in the player package? Extra points for objective markers and an army display board. I doubt I'll have time to make a display board but I'll knock out 3 objective markers this week.

The tourney in Edmonton was a blast, lots of good games with tough opponents. I went 1-3 as did Darren and Dom. Carson bowed out after 2 because of food poisoning and Don went 2-2. It was a good time and I'll definitely be up for another. I think we represented Saskatchewan well and hopefully we laid the groundwork to entice some of the Alberta boys to make the trek our way for a tournament in the future.

I will say, I am proud of our little community here in Saskatoon. Some of the lists in Edmonton were downright nasty and people had no qualms about bringing "that list" to the tournaments. They were nice enough people but they were definitely building their armies for the win and it made me appreciate our group that much more.

I came up against a dual hydra and dual level 4 death and shadow dark elf list with the sacrifical dagger bunker. And also a dual terorgiest dual level 4 death and vampire necromanccers with a larhe unit of grave gaurd with wight banner of the barrows I think its called.
