I can agree with you whole-heartedly about the Empire. It was the 5th army that I painted (in 2003), but has always remained an army that I tend to add to. In fact, just this past week, I painted 20 more halberdiers. I should probably do some re-basing, like you did, but at the moment it seems so tertiary compared to just painting more dudes! I'm bringing Empire with me to Onslaught. I hope you are as well, so I can look upon your improved wares.

Cool! I really like the metal on the griffon's breastplate. How do you get that effect?

The metals are gw leadbelcher and auric gold, washed with agrax and then druchii violet. re-highlighted with original colors and then re-highlighted with original colors mixed with a small amount of white. Gold then gets scratches of silver.

I'm slowly expanding my Warriors army with some Beastmen and maybe some deamons. Finished up this beast to use as a Sorcerer Lord on Daemonic mount.

Ive recently broke out a few high elves as well for my seaguard army.

...and finally a tiger to add to an armoured company from FOW

its a bunch of projects that I've been working on over a couple of weeks. I just wish I could get the photography better....its depressing not being able to produce a pic of what the miniature really looks like.

It looks great Carson! I really like the look of those high elves. That's going to be a sharp-looking army. How many do you have painted so far?

Having fun now with pics so I tried out the last of the painted FOW Germans.....this time with the same settings but no natural light. Which ones are better?

I think I need the natural lighting or more lamps and I just realized I forgot to put the colored paper for the backdrop No

Finally finished something. Took my time with this and really tried my hand at proper blending. Its tough and I have a long way to go but I had fun with it.
