I;m in all day saturday. Do you want me to bring in a table top and some terrain as ToonCon is taking a bunch.

I'm working that out this week, I think we should be ok for terrain but I'll make sure that there are enough table tops to take 6 to ToonCon and still have enough left at the Den.

How many people are registered for 40k and flames of war because I think they have precedence for the tables for the weekend? it has been what we have done every other year is take as many as registered plus one or two for walk ins. But hopefully there is enough to go around :-)

40k is Saturday during the day and flames of war is Sunday. Our times at ToonCon don't overlap either of them so we don't need to worry about any conflicts. Saturday during the day we will be at Dragon's Den. I think we will have 6 tables in total at each location, if we end up with more than 12 people we'll split some 8'x4' tables in half.

If tables are spit into 4ft we could do some warband games. Just need to find the rules

I just signed up with the forum and will be there Friday night and possibly sometime on Saturday if things go well. The only army I have in the province is WoC so that's what I'll be playing until I find a way to bring another army from Ottawa. Also only played twice with 8th ed so you can probably lie your face off to me and get away with it.

Good to hear you can make it, no worries about being rusty, we're playing small-point games and everyone is friendly!

I'm meeting the 40K organizer at the Den on Friday at 5:30 to gather terrain to take over to the Hall. I think the tabletops will be taken by the ToonCon organizers before then but I don't know that for sure. If not I might be able to fit them in my van but hopefully I won't have to do that.

Don, if you and Sean want to drop stuff off at my place you can feel free to do that whenever you get into the city, I'll PM you my address and cell #.

So because my friend won't be in town, I'll be coming to the Warhammer tournament Friday if there's still space. Got together a rather amusing 1250 pt list with my beasts.

Is someone bringing a whiteboard to write out the ladder?  I could bring one.

And we start at 7:30 at the hall Friday night?

Congratulations to Nathan A for winning the tournament tonight, Geoff was tied with him for points but Nathan had a better W/L record. Geoff you ran out before I found out that there were prizes so I've got some gift certs for you. I'll bring them tomorrow if you want to stop by the den during the day or tooncon during the evening.

Thanks to everyone for putting up with my lack of organization, I have new appreciation for Carson's tournaments!

Thanks to everyone who cane out for games this weekend, I think it was a great success and it makes me glad that I have such a good group of guys to share a hobby with.

I still have a couple $10 gift certs left over from the pile I got from the ToonCon organizer, I think I'll either keep them for the next tournament or add them to the next league prize. Thoughts? Or should we start up another painting challenge and have that for the prize?
