Warhound or dog minis

Post  nathanr on Mon Mar 25, 2013 12:54 pm

I'm looking for a medium-sized dog miniature that could fit on a cavalry base beside a mounted figure. Does such a thing exist? Its a mounted yeoman so the horse is one of the older, smaller medieval style horses so there's more room on the base than say a chaos knight but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I might be able to convert a giant rat into a dog with the rudimentary green-stuff skills that I have but if anyone can think of an appropriate figure that doesn't require converting I'd be grateful and if anyone has such a figure that they'd be willing to part with I'd be forever in your debt (to the tune of say $10).

You don't want to use the dog from the bretonnian boxes?

There's a dog in the Bretonnian boxes? What does it look like? Something along the lines of Orion's Hounds would be perfect, anyone have one that they're willing to part with?

Ya, the men at arms box set has a plastic dog that comes with it. Part of the command. Ill take a look, I think I have a couple. They aren't near as cool looking as Orion's hounds, but they aren't as big as the horse either. Smile

By the way - and this is no joke, they are very hard to get. Don't know why. Think it's like the running man in the giant box, everybody wants them.

That could work, if they are small I might even be interested in more than one if you have them. Add them to the pile of Men at Arms! Are you coming up next weekend or will I see you at Carson's on the 5th?

Edit: If they are as hard to get as you say they are I don't want to stiff you, name your price!

Next weekend is long weekend - I going to try and make it up. Definitely be at Carson's.

You can have the dogs if I find them, don't have value to me.

Ok, I have 2 dogs. Smaller than I remember but bigger than rats. I won't be this weekend but definitely at Carson's.
