Hey Andre, maybe you should add the participants to the first post just so everyone knows who is coming.

What is the date set for this epic battle? I don't really have elves or Orks to contribute but it sounds like an epic spectacle none the less.

It all goes down February 23rd. By my count Team Elf may be down a player or two and we may need someone to fill out our side a bit. I should have an extra wood elf force that could be loaned out to someone if we need to boost our side's numbers.

Hey Andre, now that the deadline for signing up has come and gone how about putting up a final list of players? That way we can figure out what is needed to balance the sides.

Team lists are on page one. With Zach on the elf side we have 7 against 7

Oops, I missed that. I think everything is sorted out then as far as even teams go. Good stuff.

Just wanted to put this in the open as i have a problem and it is the last minute. I misplaced my sitter so i am stuck with my daughter, good news is that Ethan is coming and he can keep her in check bad news my new sitter is not done until 3 bells. So if this is an issue let me know and i can swap my spot with Ethan and he can toss dice for the green. If not an issue looking foward to a large battle and the skies filling with arrows and the ground shaking under the weight of the green hoard.

I'd say its up to you Darren, if you decide to play you might need to get someone to move your guys and roll for you if your daughter needs your attention. We are going to need to play fairly quickly to get a game of this size in so we won't be able to wait for anyone.

While I am sure Ethan makes a great sitter, I agree with Nathan this game will have lots of confusion and need to progress. I would vote for Ethan to roll dice and you command from behind bc your daughter will listen to you

If need be and depending on what time of day this is happening, I could toss dice, move trays, and make goblin noises on behalf of Pud. I was planning on being there anyway with chocolate and cookies.

Someone toss out an agenda so we know where people are meeting up and when. I am up for meeting everyone for breakfast before the match as well.

Didn't you guys have a bad experience there last time and were talking about Grainfield's?

Jerry's has gone downhill in the last couple of years but if that's where everyone wants to go I'm fine with it. Grainfields is a decent alternative or Traeger's is excellent but a little more pricey.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made the day a success. Geoff, can you post the pictures that you took? Remember, everyone who played gets 2 points for the league with an additional point if your force is painted.

The current league ends on Thursday so get those last-minute games in!

Cool thanks Geoff, if you have time I wouldn't mind having a copy of the pictures you took, my email is nrinholm (at) gmail.com. The easiest way to share them would probably be with google drive or some such cloud sharing service.

Thanks to Andre for putting this together, definite thanks to Nathan to make awesome terrain that my lazy ass never would and thanks to all the passionate games that decided to emember and show up to have some fun. Wink

Geoff's great looking spiders put my poor little Elves in their place and I simply failed to hold the wall. I'd like to say better luck next time - but there won't be a next time. The Elves lost fair and square ....but with Goblins how do we know it was fair?

I think for the next one we can really out-do ourselves. Bigger with more evil!!
