This is amazing.

Turn based, online, Warhammer.

No rules contained in the program, no units.

Build your own art, play games with anyone, anywhere.

I'm a little surprised there hasn't been any interest in this.

It's pretty awesome.

Joe and I were able to play our campaign match despite me being in another city.

I've purchased a second account, and will likely be making it available to my campaign opponents in order to expedite games.

I think I'm going to hop on board. How "accurate" is it?

I think it is pretty cool, I haven't had a lot of time to check it out but I can see myself wasting a lot of time with it at work!

Well, it doesn't have any gw intellectual property built into it.

The appearance of the units is only as accurate as you make them.

There are no stats or anything else built in.

What it does is let you move units and roll dice. It tracks how much distance you use when wheeling, and for everything else you have to generate the tool (measuring tape, sight arc, etc.) place it, and use your eyes like anything else.

The scatter dice is good because it gives you the angle, so you can rotate your measuring tape to the precise angle of the scatter die.

Other than that, you have to tell your opponent what you're doing, then roll the dice. Just like a normal game.

You have to track your army list, unit stats, to-hit rolls, casting attempts, etc. Nothing is built in.

You can watch games as a guest (and maybe play too?) but if anyone wants to give it a shot, let me know, and we can set something up.

How long would a 2500 point game last?

About the same amount of time as a real game.

As quick as you can move the units and throw the dice.

I played one with Joe, and it took a little while longer (about 4 hours) because the system isn't well suited to raising huge units of zombies.

But any other match would proceed as normal.

I think games would only get faster as once you get acquainted to the functions. I also see the benefit of using something like skype to speed the game along as well.

Like Eric said raising models is troublesome. But so was using a touch pad and not a mouse, which might have added to he raising troubles.

I am definitely a fan.
