A Commerce Student
Hey, I am starting an Empire army and I go to the University, and the name's Keegan. Hope to get them painted soon and get a game going.

Welcome here! Have you been playing Warhammer long? There is a tournament in January that you should look into if you have your Empire army built in time.

Hey Keegan welcome to the Hordes glad to have you on board. If anyone has free time over the holidays I work mon to wed then off til the 4th. Sometime in there I want to have a day of warband games, campaign style probably start at 350 pts. Here is your basic army set up;
Min 2 core units
No more than 10 total units
May include 1 special and 1 rare or 2 special choices
0-2 hero characters (combined point totals not to exceed 150 pts including all upgrades or upgrade a unit champion as warband lieutenant
Must have one Lieutenant
0-1 war machines or chariots no 2 4 1 choice applies
only up to one unit with fly rule
min unit size
20 by 20 or 25 by 25 min 3 models
25 by 50 2 models
40 by 40 or larger 1 model
I will get Dom to post a link to the exact rules but basically you will start with up to 350 points to build a warband that grows or dies by the battles they fight. Still a normal 6 turn game of wh but signicantly scaled down (choose your battles) with hidden objectives and alternate table quarter set ups. Keegan I think this style would be very beneficial to get used to the differences bwn 30k and 40k also give you some insight as to minor army list makeup changes depending on your game style that you may want to make. And its a blast games should take about 20 or 30 mins so ample opportunity for many games and the format is cool and different from a full scale game. I am flexible for days between the holidays except 24-28 out of town.
I will be bringing the ogre tribe Greedypaws

That actually sounds good, but I don't know when I would be able to start a game. I still have one final test I have to do and I only have the hero and one core painted so far. might be able to after the christmas break or the beginning of January.
